The Littlest is One

Elliana turned 1 on Saturday! Last week was super busy with two family birthdays and party preparations, thus my utter lack of blogging. But I'm going to make up for it today with a crazy long video!! Ha ha!

Anyhow, I just learned how to create a video/slide show through youtube and it was just too much fun! Since I was just learning, I practiced with Elliana's first year photos.

Hope you enjoy it.

Elliana, we love you so much and are so thankful God blessed us with you, a daughter. Although we have no idea how to raise a girl, we look forward to the many lessons God has for us in these coming years.

Your smile and presence lights up our whole family. The Lord Has Heard...God Has Answered and He has given us a daughter.

  1. I LOVE the song you chose! I know the Nockels had a daughter named Elliana, but didn't know they wrote a song about it. Awesome! I LOVE her name. Hopefully someday Aaron and Elliana can meet (especially since they are a day apart AND Elliana was our name for Aaron had he been a girl - I think they're destined to be friends!). Lovely slideshow! :) Happy birthday!!

  2. Amber,
I love that you knew who was singing the song. Are you a Watermark fan? It sounds like you are. I have been a major Watermark fan for years now. When I first heard that song, I was pregnant with Caleb (our second). I've loved it ever since and I've wanted to use the name. But then we just kept having boys. Once we found out about Elliana, we knew it was the perfect name...especially based on the meaning.

I agree, Aaron and Elliana will have to meet someday...which would be fun for me because then that would most certainly mean I'd get to meet you!!

Hope you guys had a great weekend celebrating the little man.

  3. I never would have guessed that you were just learning how to do this video. You did great, Nikki. Very fun and nice to see your little munchkin. You have truly been blessed with your family. Love you guys and wish we lived closer. Maybe we'll end up visiting SLO at the same time sometime. Would be fun to see you all again. love and hugs
