I completely know how you feel about the c-section and I wanted to encourage you in how peaceful and mellow a planned c-section can be. I was surprised at how much nicer a scheduled c-section was than a last-minute one and that I was calm, relaxed and at peace. It was actually nice to take time to get ready at home in the morning and go in with family for the surgery prep. During surgery, I asked a lot of questions of the doctor (Dr. Salvay) during the birth, which he was happy to answer and said he really enjoyed the time we had there. It was a blessing to have rested up ahead of time too (at least as much as you can with little ones and being hugely pregnant). It makes the transition to a newborn as well as recovery from surgery so much easier. I'll be praying for you as you prepare for the birth of your little girl. How exciting!Karie Mazeriknoreply@blogger.com
